Is this just typical teenage angst?

I’ve been to this really small school for about five years when, last year,my parents decided to put me in a different school. Around that time, I became sort of indifferent to everything. A couple years back, I’d be totally excited for every little holiday, but now, I feel somewhat apathetic, even if it’s say… Christmas. I just don’t seem to care for my friends as much as before. Before, it was like, "I can’t possibly imagine life without friends!". But now, I feel like everything would just be easier to be alone. It’s like I’m too lazy to interact with people.

I can no longer say I have any hobbies. Books bore me, I just skip to the end. Every time I try to draw or write, I feel inept and think, "I don’t want to do this. I’m horrible at it." I’d start something and leave it unfinished unless it was something that is necessary to complete, like schoolwork. I just can’t find the motivation to do anything.

I used to be pretty agreeable, but now I just want to snap at anyone who even mildly irritates me.

I’m back at the school I left now, but since it’s such a small school, I feel so cramped. It’s like I’m suffocating since I’m always talking to the same people about the same things. Most of the time, the people I hang out with aren’t even people I’d call "friends". They’re just people thrust into the same social group as me because of academic abilities. Whenever I hear my ‘friends’ talking or whispering to each other, I fell isolated, and I’m always paranoid that they’re saying things about me.

I’ve always done well in academics, but lately I can’t concentrate. I go over a passage over and over just to grasp the concept. It’s not that I don’t get it, I just can’t focus on it. I’m reading the words, but I’m not really comprehending the sentence. I finish reading, then think, "Wait. What did I read again?"

Is this normal for a teenager? Is it just a phase? If it is, any tips on how to deal with it? I realize how annoying my actions sometimes. Sometimes when I’m more energetic, I look back at my own behavior and it kind of scares/irritates me.

IT IS NOT A REAL MAGAZINE. I AM JUST MAKING ONE FOR FUN AT HOME SO DONT LECTURE ME ABOUT PLAGIARISM PLEASE.
- A site for fashion photography, glamour photography, and vintage photography. (I want a site with a lot of good & original pictures! Not something like Flikr or just Photobucket.)
- Fashion Tip sites. (Tell me your favorite sites to get tips and ones you have found that actually help you!)

How many GB is the human brain?

Think about it…We have 8+GB MP3 players, my computer currently has 7GB of music on it which is 1900+ songs and still not even close to max.

Every song on my computer, laptop, MP3 I know the melody and words. I can sing them all. I know a lot of the songs on the radio. I mean the songs I do not have on my computer.

I literary know thousands of songs. I am talking songs from the 50’s all the way up to current music from many different genres… How many Gigs would that be. I mean that is just in music. This does not include what we retain for work, school, hobbies, books, etc.

So, how many GB do we have????

I know, I have that kinda time on my hands….
P.S. I am going to post this in a few other sections to get as many responses as possible so feel free to answer again and star me if you think this is a good, interesting, stupid, funny, crazy, etc. question. The more answers the better.

Are there any good books I can read on improving my writing skills?

I write a little bit- it consists primarily of amateur poetry. I want to become a teacher, and I am in college for that purpose. I want to write as a hobby- but I want to write very well. Are there any books or materials you might recommend for me to look into? Thank you in advance.

I just bought a Canon AS 570 IS. It’s the first digital and the first decent camera I’ve ever owned. It has a lot of features, including some that much more expensive cameras — even SLR’s — don’t have. I’m planning to make photography a hobby, so I don’t need a book that is written for a professional audience. I just want to be able to get the most out of what I’ve got. Any suggestions are welcome.

How do I write a non fiction book?

I see some boring non fiction books such as "Gravity" or "Elephants". Thing is, I want to do the same! I want to write non fiction books as a hobby (I am 16 and I have other big plans…) and books like that seem like a good starting point.

But what I actually want is to write an odd non fiction book, one tat will get attention. I want one that creates controversy! But how do I do that with a non fiction book? DO I have to attack people’s beliefs?

My writing skills are obviously not that good, having only high school knowledge. Basically, how do I write a non fiction book?
