Obviously it is a hobby that will be able to produce a little bit of income. I’m looking for good books for beginners, tips, pretty much any advice I can get. I don’t have a truck, but I’m willing to put in the effort into making it a hobby of mine. I’m very interested in not only scrapping the metal, but cleaning it up and forming ingots to be sold to recycling centers or using for artwork. I’m open to suggestions and ideas, thank you.

Hi I’ve taken up a hobby on reading books lately, and I need a few books to read over the summer. I’m looking for books that are similar to "A Catcher in the Rye" or any Horror, Mystery / Thriller, Comedy book, or books on life, fictional books on people’s lives or anything that you’ve read lately that is interesting.
I’m trying to build up on my vocabulary and reading stamina for the SATs in October.
I need a hobby book that features information on ropes and knots giving particular attention to ropes/knots that are used for flags. I know it may sound a bit weird but there are thousands of books about knots however I don’t know if they would be useful to a person who has particular interest in flags and flagpoles etc
Thank you ![]()
I thought a hobby of making antique looking chess, checkers, chinese checkers, etc., game boards would be fun. I just can’t find any reference materials or websites that will help me in designing the proper size board, along with the look and feel.
Does anyone know of any good woodworking, antiquing or hobby books about this?
A friend of mine wants to try reading books as a hobby. This is the first time he’s going to try. He’s now 21yrs. What book would u suggest me to introduce to him so that he’s not scared off at the volume and high standard english of the book. Also. the book should be interesting enough for him to take up reading as a hobby. Any suggestions?
Plz suggest some books that are universal. I live in India so not that many english books that are famous abroad do come here. I do have access to very famous ones though…
Is harry potter part one a good idea?
I am a big fan of his book "Guns, Germs and Steel", but I never understood this. Does he also publish professional articles in academic journals? Or writing the book for general audience is the primary work?
